Dragon and more dragons!

July 23rd - I had the opportunity to go into an old office building on 16th st.  and these were the ceiling tiles in the lobby.

July 24th - I saw an old colleague and friend tonight at a work event.  She's one of those people that can fill a room with her laughter.

July 25th - This evening was the first time this summer that I could really 'enjoy' being outdoors, in the perfect breezy temperature, and read in my garden while the sun set.

July 26th - Fish! I had coconut crusted tilapia - which I  willingly bought, cooked and ate - tonight and I liked it! this is a big step for me!

July 27th - Sam Adams Cherry Wheat beer  is Delicious with a capital D!

July 28th - Dragons at the Dragon Boat Festival today  with Maura.

I also babysat the kids  tonight and got all sorts of love and  cuteness to stock up on.

July 29th - The Dragon Boat Festival again today on a fantastic date.

Daisies and Daisy

July 16th - Daisies from my garden!

July 17th - Jeremy at the office brought in his dog Daisy for a couple days.  She finally warmed up to me...a little.

July 18th - My new journal.  I love starting new journals - all those blank pages to fill with good things.

July 19th - This beautiful sky while waiting for my date - turned out to be a fantastic time.

July 20th - I was so grateful for our assistant, Carly, today, helping me pack up all the Penny Harvest sacks and wait for almost an hour with me at the post office.

July 21st - My Aunt Susie visited this week and it was great to see her at a family dinner.  Corinne absolutely LOVED her.

July 22nd - I taught my friend Carly how to make a pillow today.

Oh Baby!

July 9th - Dinner and frozen yogurt with Lindsay is always a good time.

July 10th - Here's the 2nd batch of robin babies, and they've flown the nest already.

July 11th -  When I took this picture, I was just grateful that it stayed up over the highway traffic below ( I could feel it swaying/bouncing when joggers ran over it with me on it), but it also turned out to be a good a great part of a date.

Jenica also had her baby today...

July 12th - and I got to meet Makenli Dain today.  Mommy and baby are doing well.

July 13th -Emily brought her new puppy in to work Friday afternoon, and he was a better pick-me-up than a 2:00 snack.

July 14th - Maura's friends are a hoot and a half.  My cheeks were aching from all the laughing.

July 15th - Watermelon is summer wrapped up in a pretty green rind.

Happy 4th!

July 2nd - I forgot to take a picture today - so here's my beautiful tree, that's been 'in bloom' for a month and a half now.

July 3rd - I was so excited for a 5 day weekend starting with the 4th, that here's a little bit of flag fancy outside my office.

July 4th - Happy Independence Day!  Celebrated with BBQ's! First at Ryan's with the family and kids.  Corinne introduced me to her best friend, Alexandra.

Connor was chillin' while the girls were doin' their thing.

Our cousin Mitch and his girlfriend Mallory!

Corinne being silly with cones on her ears, with her friend Alexandra 'reading' Roald Dahl's Matilda.
Then I went to my friend Katie's BBQ and met her new baby, William Robert.

And their longhorn, Bandit.

July 5th - My friend Sara and I went to the Movie Tavern - woohoo! And she gave me this journal as a belated bday present.  She knows me. :)

Back -

July 6th - I made myself a duffle bag in preparation for my  Steamboat Springs trip.

July 7th - Maura, Eric and I went to Steamboat for the weekend.  Even though the hot air balloons were canceled, we managed to have a lot of fun anyway!

At the rodeo, a new kind of pony ride.

July 8th - This is what followed me home!

Just Trying to Cool Off

June 25th - On my way to an event tonight (that was hotter inside than it was outside in 97 degree Downtown), I saw this car parked on the street.  Notice the baby seat in the back.

June 26th - I have a couple of orders for purses, and got really excited when I saved over $100 on this pile of material! (There's a lot there, and other supplies too.)

June 27th - With all the fires raging across the state, this unexpected afternoon rainstorm was more than welcome.

June 28th - In light of the fires (no pun intended) and all of the people being evacuated and losing their homes, I moved my giant suitcase from the basement to the closet in my room, where most of the things I'd grab are - my writing, my 20+ journals, my jewelry and prescriptions.  I'd just grab a couple photo albums and art on my way out.

June 29th - I had a major presentation this morning - 2 hours in front of 40+ non-profit organizations and it was a huge success.  While I couldn't take a pic of the guests, I figured my penny lapel pin would do just fine representing the relief I feel that that's all over.  And I only put my foot in it once!

June 30th - Here's the first of the purse  orders completed.  It feels good to be doing this again - besides just for me.  A girl can only have so many purses. :)

July 1st - Mom and I having some fun with hats in a little boutique.  My mom's the greatest.

Happy July!
